My childhood was full of magical moments that included glitter, stickers & coloring contests, but a “mean girl” episode when I was nine stole the magic. To remember joy, and create new friendships, I drew caricatures of classmates and passed them around like tiny love notes.

Forty-seven years ago, this planted the seed for sugarlump.

When I grew up, I became a designer and Creative Director, working on powerful global brands like Nike at Wieden + Kennedy. I learned how to craft stories that move people–and now I use those same skills to create something more important: love in the hearts of children. What I have created with sugarlump is a new digital “love note” that reaches farther than the pencil drawings ever could.

Sugarlump is more than a brand. It's a mission.

It’s a kindness-powered world where kids and their grownups go on real-life adventures–collecting stickers, scanning magical QR codes, and completing acts of kindness that make a real differencein their homes, schools, and neighborhoods.

We use augmented reality, experiential design and character-building missions to help kids do something radical in today’s world:

Sugarlump helps kids feel their value. It gives them tools to connect, create, and build a world they want to live in. The truth is, we can't wait. Our kids are growing up in a noisy, divided, and sometimes cruel world. But with sugarlump they will change it.
